The Crazy In Love & Not So In Love Erg Marathons are now part of our new month-long marathon experience at Fools Fest Sprints, Marathon Mayhem!

Distance racing is brutal, but people love it. For those who can’t seem to get enough meters, we have created Marathon Mayhem. During May, you can put all that winter training to the test during our Heaven Help Us Half and Crazy In Love Marathon events!

Both races will offer opportunities to race against others or go solo if you prefer not to compete. Select the event on ErgZone that you want to compete in on May 3. You can choose either the half or full marathon distance, but please note that you will only have the opportunity to participate in one event as a live virtual race at 8 am CDT.

Each event offers the opportunity to submit a time during the entire month of May, so you can recover from the live event you choose to compete in virtually, and then return at a later date in May to conquer the second distance on your own, at a time of your choosing.

The Marathon Mayhem package includes two races:

1. Heaven Help Us/Heaven Heard Us Half Marathon
2. Crazy In Love/Not So In Love Marathon

Rules & Info

Start time is 8 am CDT for both events. Pick the one you want to do live virtually with others.

RACERS IN OTHER TIME ZONES have the entire month of May to submit their times on Ergzone. The deadline to submit scores for the Crazy In Love Erg Marathon–RACE and Heaven Help Us Half Marathon–RACE is May 31, 2026. This allows you to complete both the half and full marathon distances any time within the month if you are a distance warrior.

COMPETING ON AN OLDER MODEL ERG? You can still compete if your erg doesn't have a PM5 monitor. You won't be able to connect to live racing on ErgZone, but once you manually submit your score on the ErgZone app, it will count in our official results and rankings.

There will be no refunds. Please know this upfront. We count on your entry fee to support this event and all its associated costs.

Age Divisions

• SGGM = Super Great Grand Master > 70
• GGM = Great Grand Master > 60
• GM = Grand Master – 50-60
• M = Master – 27-49
• O = Open – 20-26
• JR = Junior – 0-19

Weight Categories

• Lightweight Women: <= 135lbs (61.5kg)
• Heavyweight Women: > 135 lbs (61.6kg)
• Lightweight Men <= 165lbs (75kg)
• Heavyweight Men > 165lbs (75kg)
