The 500m Salute 2 The Troops is now part of the June Bug Sprints! Sprint racing is where it’s at when the days are longer and the sun is out. We are excited to debut a brand-new event for 2025, The June Bug Sprints!

The June Bug Sprints will be a morning of fast and furious sprint events for those who like to let it rip. Join us for one event or all three! We are offering the June Bug Package to bundle and save money, but you can also enter each event as a solo race if you are only interested in doing one event.

2. Salute 2 The Troops 500m
3. Summer Sweater 1K

500m Salute 2 The Troops

Fools Fest Sprints salutes the memory and service of our troops. This Memorial Day weekend, we will race 500m with everything we've got in honor of those who gave everything they had and made the ultimate sacrifice.

This event is a fundraiser for the DAV (Disabled American Veterans) Charitable Service Trust, which receives a 100% 4-star rating on Charity Navigator. 10% of your entry fee will be donated. The Erg Rats are proud to lead the charge and encourage you to join our indoor infantry for this worthy event.

• Race results reported to Concept2 rankings.

Entry Fee:

• Solo Race Entry - $15 (Race merch and media)
• Speed Pass Entry - $5 (Race access only)

Entry fees are the same for US and International racers and include shipping and handling.

Start time is 9:15 am CDT

RACERS IN OTHER TIME ZONES may compete independently at their local time on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at 9:15 am CDT, but MUST manually submit their results on ErgZone within 24 hours of completing the event at their local time.

COMPETING ON AN OLDER MODEL ERG? You can still compete if your erg doesn't have a PM5 monitor. You won't be able to connect to live racing on ErgZone, but once you manually submit your score on the ErgZone app, it will count in our official results and rankings.

Age Divisions

• SGGM = Super Great Grand Master > 70
• GGM = Great Grand Master > 60
• GM = Grand Master – 50-60
• M = Master – 27-49
• O = Open – 20-26
• JR = Junior – 0-19

Weight Categories

• Lightweight Women: <= 135lbs (61.5kg)
• Heavyweight Women: > 135 lbs (61.6kg)
• Lightweight Men <= 165lbs (75kg)
• Heavyweight Men > 165lbs (75kg)
